Hi I'm Chelsea Zhang (she/her) an engineer, product designer,
flautist, and junior studying Computer Science and Game Design.
A litte more about who I am:
I enjoy solving technical challenges and pushing the boundaries of how interactions between users can go. Working with cross-functional teams, and pushing creative ideas forward is my joy!
Currently I am exploring the intersection between AI, VR, and gameplay systems. Whether it’s optimizing performance, designing gameplay mechanics, or leading a team, I’m always looking for ways to build better, more engaging experiences.
✧ Cultural dreamer & panda enthusiast
I love pandas and their approach to life although I am not one. I am drawn to games that celebrate culture and interactivity. I believe storytelling through ideas is one of the most powerful ways to connect people across the world.
♡ Builder of worlds with purpose
I started my own game studio freshman year to celebrate East Asian culture and push back on stereotypes. We brought history to life and we continue to celebrate that through quests and stories.
⌨︎ Code is my paintbrush
Whether I’m debugging late at night or animating a new feature, programming is my creative outlet. It’s where I find flow — turning ideas into interactive spaces where players can learn, laugh, and explore.
✦ Team player with a vision
I love gathering passionate people and turning ideas into reality. From jumping forums between classes to cheering on my team with positive reinforcement, I’ve led projects that feel more like shared dreams than assignments.
♪ Music keeps me grounded
I’ve been playing the flute since I was little — it’s where I first learned the magic of rhythm, patience, and expression. Music taught me how to listen closely, dream boldly, and breathe through the chaos. When I’m not building games, I’m often composing, practicing, or just playing for fun.
☁︎ In my free time you’ll find me…
Tinkering with new game concepts, learning new tools on LLMS, dancing, watching historical or fantasy dramas, or drawing inspiration from the world around me to design the next thing I want to build.
Chelee's probably — building worlds where logic meets imagination.
